Head of Operations (Volunteer)

About Us

Svitlo is a US-based non-profit bringing information transparency and resource coordination to the Ukrainian refugee resettlement effort across a complex landscape of government and nonprofit organizations.

Svitlo occupies a unique and vital niche in identifying, researching, and centralizing important information about benefits, housing, job search, and other services Ukrainians need to make a new life in the US. Because the US government operates in a decentralized way, each state has its own set of rules, processes, and relief organizations. Our goal is to provide Ukrainians with accurate, relevant, and timely information they can use to access the services available to them.

About the Role

Svitlo is looking for an outstanding head of operations to help take our young nonprofit to the next level. You will be a founding member of the operations team laying the groundwork for processes and ensuring alignment and smooth execution across all the departments. To be successful as a head of operations, you should demonstrate strong leadership and analytical skills, experience in identifying operational gaps, and a track record of getting things done. Ultimately, our success in achieving our mission depends on your ability to motivate and organize the Svitlo team.
